The opinions expressed by business collaborators are their own.
After a year of being chained to our desks and drinking wine … I mean … coffee … in Zoom instead of walking away in freedom, many of us face the reopening of the anxiety, work-life balance and the inevitable life to get back in shape after a year of lockdown.
But why do we want all these things?
We are ready to feel normal again. Sane again.
I interviewed several C-suite founders, business owners, and executives who have created products and moves to help us feel healthier right now, or at least as quickly as we can get to “Apple Pay”.
Excited (as usual), I present to you, without any particular order, the entrepreneurial initiatives of 15 founders on a mission.
Founded by Zak Williams, son of Robin Williams, PYM is a “Mood Chew” that claims to reduce depression, increase clarity and provide an overall feeling of lightness. Chews have GABA, L-theanine and Rhodiola. “Our customer testimonials move me forward every day,” Williams says. “And the main thing we’re constantly hearing is that it’s a transformative experience for people. Our product is more effective for those with amino acid deficiencies.[Turnitonwithalightswitchthatallowscustomerstosay”flipsonalightswitchthatallowscustomerstosay’OhwowIcanactuallyfeelthisgood?’”[Prendre-ho’giraambuninterruptordellumquepermetalsclientsdir:”Ohvajaenrealitatempucsentirtanbé?”[Takingit’ flipsonalightswitchthatallowscustomerstosay‘OhwowIcanactuallyfeelthisgood?’”
2. We are not really strangers
In a collaboration with Diane von Furstenberg, We’re Not Really Strangers created a card game that is the opposite of Cards Against Humanity. Each letter delves deep into your soul to help you meet the number 1 hero of your life … you. This brand is a great example of how far collaborations with other creators can take you.
3. Wknd Nation
More than a free leisure brand, Wknd Nation creates stylish clothes that you can wear while working from home or (dining) for dinner. The images on the website show the clothes of S, L and XXL size models.
When I spoke to the founders, Sofia Karvela and Phuong Ireland, they told me, “We want real women who buy our clothes to be represented on our website. We don’t even want fans to count on our influencers, we want real women, to do real work, to love our clothes. “

4. Sky Ting
Founded by yogis Chloe Kernaghan and Krissy Jones, Sky Ting is an online community and yoga channel that offers a wide variety of classes, including heat-building yoga, restorative yoga, and meditation. The founders shared that even as dedicated yogis, their lives became laptops as soon as the pandemic hit. They suggest taking the pressure off and trying to make a small movement throughout the day. Doing a 15 minute yoga class once or twice during the day is much more manageable for the brain than a 60 minute break. Even these flexible founders get it (pun).
Can you imagine not having to venture into the world to see if you are healthy? Of course, it’s the dream … especially when you’re also concerned about the health of others. That’s why Peter Foley created LetsGetChecked, which offers tests of Covid-19 (among dozens of others) that you can do privately from home.
These tests provide real lab results and can be picked up directly from your front door, reducing anxiety and providing true medical clarity. The cortisol stress test can be interesting for the test of all employers … push, push.

6. Simple human
I wouldn’t think a trash can could create that peace of mind, but the Simple Human Sensor Can, which opens when you walk, can make you feel like you can control one or two things in your life. It also reduces the amount of garbage you do during a day’s work from home and who doesn’t need it? The Simple Human team makes simple products that make your life easier, so you can change the lives of other humans. (That’s what it’s about, folks!)
7. Freq rituals
Founded by Andrew Crowder, a longtime mind leader and collaborator, Freq is a tangible product line that supports the demonstration. Crowder made a spray, bath salts and an elixir that use NLP techniques and frequencies so you can bank and smell good too. These products are not only magnificent, but also seem to work on the incorporation of bacon (tofu).
The O3Waterworks disinfectant spray bottle is an innovative a la carte household disinfectant that turns tap water every day into a non-toxic, chlorine-free and alcohol-free cleaner, a safer alternative to the countless cleaning products stored below. the toilet. This technology reduces waste and keeps you healthy, so you can keep moving at the speed of light.
9. Classic Six
This closet mixes and blends in dozens of different ways, eliminating one cause of suffering: having no idea what to put on or skip on a Zoom call after a walk and realizing it looks a little baffled. I’ve gotten the blazer from this collection and keep it on my desktop, so I actually feel like I’m running my business when I return to Zoom, Teams, or any of the video platforms we live on now.
10. Mushroom design
Everything Mushroom Design creates, including packaging, is carbon neutral or carbon negative. Its products use the healing power of mushrooms to increase immunity and overall bodily functions.

The first patented, non-toxic pest control brand, EarthKind provides effective plant solutions to keep pests away without killing or poisoning them. Its mission is to protect the home we all share. During the decade since it was founded, this women-owned company has sold 50 million units of its popular rodent repellent. It also manufactures products to repel ants, spiders and moths. Founder Kari Block’s entrepreneurial journey is very well explained in her new book, Gathering Around the Table.
12. The good ritual
Coffee maker, no more. This Australian coffee brand allows you to make suckers, iced coffees and more in less than 30 seconds. Good Ritual products can also help increase your energy without hassle, as, like PYM, you use L-theanine to reduce the negative side effects of your multi-cup java habit.
13. Vida Sakara
Sakara Life’s plant-based nutrition programs are shipped straight to your doorstep in sustainable packaging so you can eat well and nourish your body, even in the weeks when you forget your name. Sakara sends you delicious breakfasts, salads that don’t come in a bag (you know what I’m talking about) and nutrient-dense dinners for weeks, when you’re just burning midnight oil. Sakara Life also provides functional snacks on the go, including bars, nutritional granola and supplements, made with superfood ingredients.
A probiotic backed by science. The gut supports systemic health and Seed has created a DS-01 Daily Synbiotic, which is a probiotic and a prebiotic in a very sleek and sustainable package. If you’re willing to miss this “zoom tube” I mentioned in the first paragraph, look no further than a healthy gut to begin with.
Do you want to be “Berry Calm?” Sunwink wants to help you. This company manufactures sparkling tonics and superfood powders fed by super clean plants for daily well-being. If it’s time to increase your nutrient intake, you may want to change your sparkling water habit with Sunwink tonics, which can add balance to your work routine without all the extra steps and vitamin packs, if you’re not into that kind of thing. .
There are likely to be thousands of entrepreneurs who have thousands of entrepreneurs with a similar mission: to return moments of common sense to those of us who are brave enough to innovate and pave the way for future policyholders. I greet the founders I have had the pleasure of researching and those I hope to meet in the future, as this journey is not easy. In fact, entrepreneurship is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but there’s no better way to find out who you are, how far you can go, and what you can achieve than becoming your own boss. Even if it is temporarily.
We make some sense and support each other as we do so by showing the true colors of this trip, not just the most prominent rollers online.
