Lenovo has launched a new Smart Display Assistant — called Smart Clock 2. This adds to the existing two products in the same segment — the Lenovo Smart Clock and Smart Clock Essential.
The key highlight of the newly launched Lenovo Smart Clock 2 is that it comes with an optional wireless charging dock. This charging dock can help in charging Qi-enabled devices. The company also describes the dock as “a soft, ambient night light.”
Lenovo Smart Clock 2 offers a fabric soft-touch, organic-looking exterior in three colour options — Shadow Black, Heather Grey and Abyss Blue.
In terms of specs, the Lenovo Smart Clock 2 offers a 4-inch colour touchscreen and comes powered by MediaTek MT8167S SoC. It has in-built Google Assistant and for audio, makes use of a 1.5-inch 3W front-firing speakers. It has a far-field microphone array.
Connectivity options on the Lenovo Smart Clock 2 include 802.11 b/g/n, 2.4Ghz and Bluetooth v4.2 and it packs 1GB RAM and 8GB storage.
