Panasonic has expanded its tablet range with the launch of the company’s latest Toughbook S1 in the US. The tablet runs on the Android 10 operating system and features thick bezels that protect the screen.
The Panasocnic Toughbook S1 also includes an option to choose between IP65 and IP67 certification. Certification will make the device water and dust resistant.
The company has had a price of Panasonic Toughbook S1 at $ 2,499 and is available for purchase in the US.
Specifications of Panasonic Toughbook S1
The Panasonic Toughbook S1 includes a 7-inch WXGA display with a resolution of 800×1280 pixels. The capacitive display includes glove touch modes and anti-reflective display with a maximum brightness of 500 nights.
The tablet runs on the Android 10 operating system and runs on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. The device includes 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. Users can further expand storage by adding a microSD card.
Panasonic Toughbook S1 has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera for video calling. The tablet also includes a docking connector and an optional USB Type A host port.
The Android tablet has a 3200 mAh battery and the company claims that it can supply up to 8 hours of battery backup and can be fully charged within 3 hours. The company also adds that with the Warm Swap functionality, the tablet’s battery can be expanded to 5,580 mAh and the battery life increases to 14 hours.
The Toughbook S1 comes with military grade certification and can withstand drops of up to five feet.
