Despite how much the past year has affected all of us, there are hundreds of success stories all across Derbyshire that deserve to be recognised. An admirable feat, these businesses have continued to show a passion for their industry and remarkable conviction to succeed regardless of the difficulties facing them everyday.
Across the next few months, culminating in a black-tie awards ceremony, the DerbyshireLive Business Awards, in association with Champions (UK) PLC, is shining a light on the success stories right on our doorstep.
Turning off the computer screens and stepping outside of the house, our business community will be reunited for a night of celebration at the Derby Arena on Thursday, October 21. Finally able to get dressed up and network face-to-face, it is set to be a special night for all.
This year’s headline sponsors are Invictus Communications, Futures, Diginius, Derby Arena and Derby College. To find out more, visit the official website. For tickets, contact Michelle Roberts, firstname.lastname@example.org.

Looking at the individual achievements of the entrepreneur, the results returned by their business and their unique approach to the marketplace they operate in, the judges have selected the finalists that best represent the entrepreneurial spirit of the region.
