Tulsa City leaders announced this week a unique initiative for entrepreneurs.
It’s called Greenwood Entrepreneurship Incubator. Mayor GT Bynum said the city council will vote next week to approve $ 4 million to redevelop the Morton Health Center near Pine and North Greenwood. It will become a space where entrepreneurs can give life to their ideas.
“We recognize that building wealth here in our community, particularly in areas of our city that have not had the same kind of opportunities that historically should have been there, we want to build wealth in those areas,” Bynum said.
The center will be operated by the Tulsa Economic Development Corporation.
