New Delhi [India], June 5 (ANI / NewsVoir): Viridian Group, in collaboration with Manipal Hospital, Dwarka organized a free vaccination action for its employees and relatives at its Delhi-based office.
More than 150 people aged 18 to 44 and 45 benefited from the initiative and received their vaccine against Covishield.
“The second wave of the COVID pandemic has been devastating. The only way to win this fight is to get vaccinated and maintain proper behavior at COVID. We have always maintained the safety and health of our employees as a top priority. Inoculation campaign was organized for the staff and their immediate relatives will be vaccinated as soon as possible, ”said Anuj Bhandari, head of applied research at the Viridian group.
The company also provided the vaccination camp to employees at its office located in Gurugram.
Vaccination for the 18- to 44-year-old age group has been slow in most states due to vaccine restrictions. In this case, the impetus for vaccination by companies has been providing an alternative and more fluid route for their employees and families.
“Several people faced the challenge of not getting appointment spaces due to vaccine restrictions. We’ve been trying to find the appointment through the Cowin app, but we couldn’t, as most centers “This unit was a great relief for all of us, especially for the elderly in our families,” said a 35 – year – old employee who received the vaccine by car.
As a responsible company, the group believes in bringing its employees and the entire community involved in this struggle. Taking the initiative further, Viridian Group organized these vaccination camps in their different project locations, namely WTC Chandigarh and WTC GIFT City.
In collaboration with Dr. BR Ambedkar State Institute of Medical College, about 130 staff members, security personnel, workers and members of his family were vaccinated at the WTC Chandigarh site. At WTC GIFT City, the company organized the camp in partnership with the government. Hospital where 35 people were vaccinated, including local labor, security personnel, etc.

Approximately 350 people have been vaccinated through on-site vaccination initiatives.
Construction workers and laborers come from the economically weaker part of society who might not be well versed and have access to it. Viridian Group has been extending all possible support to its construction workers, staff members and employees involved. Regular sanitation work and medical check-ups are being ensured to avoid unwanted situations in the best possible way.
