EA’s Madden NFL 22 launch date is set to be August 20, which leaves us with about more than a week. But if you have an EA Play membership, you could try the upcoming game from August 12, but on consoles only. That’s correct. The EA Play membership will let you play the Madden NFL 22 trial version from today but it is only a 10-hour long one, which means once the hour count is up, you’ll have to wait for the official launch. The game should appear available for download for EA Play subscribers on consoles.
For PC players, the game’s Dynasty and MVP editions unlock three days before the official launch. But they haven’t got the EA Play trial.
Madden NFL 22 will have three game editions: Dynasty, MVP and Standard. The Standard Edition of the game is the cheapest and costs $59.99, the MVP Edition costs $79.99 while the Dynasty Edition of the game is priced the highest and retails at $99.99.
Madden NFL 22 comes with some new features like Franchise Mode, The Yard and Face of the Franchise. With the Franchise Mode, EA Sports has promised “more detailed staff management and skill tree progression systems, with comprehensive weekly game strategy that integrates into your gameplan”. The mode will also get “live service updates” which means it will receive updates throughout the year. EA Sports introduced The Yard mode with Madden 21 and this year too, the mode has been continued with some new upgrades like new locations and a new ranked mode.
